I had such a weird dream. We were having bball practice at like a college(maybe butler?). Then once we got going in practice and I had to go to the side and I threw up. I remember holding like a bubble in my mouth and running to the trash can. Coach miller asked me if I wanted to stay but I thought if I stayed I would js get sick again so I said I wanted to leave. Then, for some reason I had a track meet after practice, so my dad was waiting in the stands with uncle Philip, and chace ford was sitting right behind them. I told my dad I wanted to leave bc I threw up and chace like scooted away from me. And then I started talking to uncle Philip and I was scared he would say my breath stunk but he was talking to me all normal. Then, me, daddy, and rylee(she js spawned), apparently had plans to go this restaurant after the meet so we js went straight there. I’ve dreamt about this “restaurant” before. So the restaurant has two entrances and one of them is by the front where a host can seat u and the other one is like a back door that leads straight to the tables. For some reason, I saw a paper on our table near that back door that said “Chris B.” on it so we go through that back door and all sit there. Then, a waitress comes and makes us go to the front bc she said we can’t do that and then she js reseated us at the same table. Me and my dad were going back and forth about how I couldn’t eat anything so that I didn’t throw up again and then I told him he can’t eat anything either bc he js ate at my “track meet”. And so we both said we would save the rest for later. Then I woke up
Dreams like yours can be rich in symbolism and often reflect a mixture of emotions, experiences, and subconscious thoughts. Here are some possible interpretations of different elements within your dream:
Physical Reactions (Throwing Up): Throwing up in dreams often symbolizes releasing or expelling something that is making you uncomfortable or anxious. It could represent feelings of stress, pressure, or even guilt related to performance and expectations—perhaps stemming from activities like basketball practice or track meets.
Basketball Practice: This setting suggests that the dream is connected to feelings of competition, teamwork, and physicality. If you’re involved in sports or have thoughts about performance and challenging situations, this could be a reflection of your current mindset.
Family and Support: Your dad and uncle Philip's presence indicates a desire for support and assurance. You might be seeking comfort from loved ones during stressful periods. Conversations with family are often reassuring, implying you value their opinions and support.
Concerns About Judgment: The worry about your breath making you self-conscious around others like Chace Ford is indicative of social anxiety or concerns about how others perceive you. This reflects an internal dialogue about your self-image, particularly in social settings.
Repeated Restaurant: Since you’ve dreamt about the restaurant before, it likely holds personal significance to you. It may symbolize a place of comfort, nourishment, or social connection. The two entrances could signify different paths or choices in your life.
Negotiation Around Food: Discussing food choices with your dad and deciding not to eat out of fear might reflect a struggle with control or managing your feelings about nourishment, health, or how you cope with stressful situations.
Transition and Change: The flow of the dream (from practice to the track meet to the restaurant) may represent transitions in your life. You might be navigating multiple activities and responsibilities, and the dream encapsulates the juggling act of managing your commitments.
In summary, your dream might be reflecting anxieties about performance, a desire for familial support, concerns about social perception, and navigating stress in various aspects of your life. Exploring these feelings in your waking life could lead you to a greater understanding of what may be bothering you.
